The inner workings of the contracts and deals going on within the industry have got to be complex. I wonder if there's anyone reading this from Bungie thinking "If only we were getting stuff for this" or "Too bad we can't let them know that all is well and we're actually getting very well compensated for our work." I support Bungie, and I don't necessarily trust Microsoft. That ODST announcement bullshit where they cut in and made Bungie delay it still doesn't sit well with me. : Except in the form that Narc said. Making efforts to increase the sales by : increasing awareness in turn increases the income. : Bungie won't be getting 'used' more than any other developer. Well considering that without the Halo brand the Xbox would be dead and could still possibly die (343 created out of Bungie's independence, and signed to a 5 or 6 year plan?), and all of the red rings of death and unreadable disc errors and bullshit in general from this product (when Sony is getting sued over a software update that made someone's PS3 break or whatever, but Microsoft seems to be untoucable with this stuff, having only covered red rings), I'd say that they're going to try and use Bungie and milk Bungie of all they're worth until they're done with Halo. And depending on what comes after Halo, Microsoft might still try to hold on to them and use them as their cash cow. I just want Bungie to have a lot more control, get a lot more money, and do well.
