I can't believe that everything in their game was created from nothing, they must have borrowed ideas and been influenced by other works. 1) Do they own the IP of the people who's ideas they copied? did working hard on their game give them ownership of the ideas that they borrowed/modified/extended? 2) can it even be established which ideas were copied and where from? 3) what parts of their "IP" are truly unique and therefore belong to them? 4) how much do you need to do to own an idea? 5) if they can take other's ideas, work on them then own the results. Then can't others take their ideas, work on them then own the results?
