Because it gets so deeply complex and umpredicable, I would take the safe option. Lock myself in a shed until I think of some original ideas! But I don't have a shed. If I use someone else's to create a work of genius...do they deserve something? Erm. Maybe a cameo appearance. As someone who owns a shed. It could make your brain explode thinking of this. If you think there is the slightest chance what you make could be theft of intellectual property - ask them first. Maybe they wouldn't mind helping/supporting it. Unless you're really good with law stuff, but there's still the morality issue. Actually, the biggest danger may come from irritating the fanboys of what you rip off ;) |
