I can't see how this is true, given that intellectual property is an invented term created by corporations in the 1960s, and criminal and tort are terms of significantly greater age with origins in the judicial system. I would say that my point about misusing "intellectual property" in the original article was the crux of my complaint against it. That he was misunderstanding just what people were doing wrong (by his own definitions) highlighted how poor the term is, in any event. : Please don't bring up specific political issues. Straying into this territory
Granted, that can happen, but I was making an analogy which I thought worked reasonably well. |
