(dalecooper) One other comment - a lot of the responses I see to any kind of "complaint" post or "suggestion" post basically come down to, "get better at the game." What do you say to someone who *is* good at the game? I'm fine at Halo 2. My rankings are just average (I think I have a low 14 on team slayer right now) but I almost always have more kills than deaths, lots of assists, etc. I'm not having any trouble succeeding in Halo 2. But I find that the game frustrates me more. My problems with it result from getting mad more often than I did playing Halo 1, and I don't like that aspect. The ideal game for me would be one that always relieved stress instead of causing it... and even though there's no such thing, I can at least say that my favorite games come the closest. If Halo 1 was a 90% on the scale, Halo 2 is more like an 80%. Better than most, but not the same. |
