MLG: "Now that maps are more balaned, it's not fair that you can't stand in one spot and win. And not being able to use only one weapon ever to win most all games on all maps isn't fair either." <- see anything wrong? A lot of people are doing the same wishing that we always do. Why didn't Halo have dual wielding? Boarding? Why can you throw flags through geometry in Halo (AND 2)? Those are fair points that will be made regardless of what game it is or how good that game is- if people stop wanting new things in games, there will be no more game industry. That's different from the people who whine about the game "taking less skill" or other bull (MLG: Now that you can't stand in one spot with the Pistol and mindlessly spawn camp to always win every game, everything is n00b friendly... how does that make sense?). 90% of the anti-Halo2 rhetoric is absolute bull, and the rest is those bits of golden nuggets that every game series needs to improve itself. Why can't you pick up and carry that big chaingun that Johnson packs at the start of the game? Why isn't there an option to turn vehicle damage off? It's questions like these that allow Bungie to refine what they're going to do in future games. "I relied on the Pistol too much before and it's Bungie's fault for making me learn to use more than one weapon" is not a valid complaint. |
