In Response To: Interesting (howekern) magnum worthless? tell that to all those people who own me with smg+magnum. and the shotgun is FAR from worthless. i got a running riot on beaver creek (in matchmaking) with it. you want a support weapon? the battle rifle and the sniper rifle are both fantastic support weapons. you just need a good team. the wraith, ghost, and warthog are also support/supression weapons. needler doesn't blow, it's a good unexpected killer. you just need to lead the target well. why have classes built in? when i play, my teammates and i take on implicit, but still flexible, roles. my friend will take the sniper, i'll grab the battle rifle and rocket launcher, and two other teammates will grab the hog. sounds like classes to me, but if something happens and my friend dies, i can grab his sniper rifle and pick up the slack. i don't believe classes allow that flexibility. halo is all about adapting to the current situation - these are all ideas that would rigidize gameplay far too much. : Does anyone notice that there are a lot of these wish lists cropping up?
