In Response To: More whining than suggesting. (gspawn) I don't expect to be able to stand in one place and win, nor do I expect any individual weapon to be a guarantor of victory - indeed, this is the status quo, this is true now: the team that controlls the one (or the few) rocket launcher(s) or sniper rifle(s) will have a much easier time of things.
In my humble oppinion, the series is, somewhat disturbingly, trending towards the mindless frag-festival-in-an-arena-of-death genre of games, like Quake 3, and away from the more strategic, higher-level games, like DoD or CS. So, if you'de like a suggestion rather than a Kerry-Esque gripe list, I'd like to see elements of tactic and spetialization recieve more attention, and death-match style themes like map exploitation or weapon monopolization minimized. |
