In Response To: Halo PC Strategy Guide "Weapon Gamer Tips" -> (Doug Radcliffe) M6D Pistol For the unknowing, the M6D is a pistol, however, it is a pistol on fire shooting depleted uranium shells at super-sonic speeds while being chased by, of course, flaming ninjas. This weapon, when yielded properly, can hold its own against any oncoming force albeit Grunts, Elites, Jackals and especially Hunters. Think of this weapon as a hand-held, rapid-fire, high-power sniping machine. It also helps to think of this handgun as a extended clip sniper rifle, with the limitations of a pistol. The weapon's 2X zoom is your best friend; if you utilize it correctly, it will reward you with headshots galore. Just make sure to reload all the time because the M6D's clip will run dry pretty quickly in a heated fire-fight. You may ask, how can it take down a Hunter? Its only a pistol! Well... is a 44 Magnum only a revolver? All the enemies in the game of HALO have a weakness, and if you can find this weakness in each of the alien breeds, then the pistol can help you exploit them. (You should try to find the weaknesses for yourself because finding them is a part of becoming an ace HALO player, besides their easy to find anyway). You should always carry a M6D with if you can; only in the later levels should you change to another main weapon (Shotgun). If you respect the M6D pistol, then it will respect you and back you up when your face-to-face with a "agitated" Hunter duo. Daniel Shuman
