Sure, there are usually better : excuses that you could come up with for not having recon; for instance, it : would have been ludicrous to expect lots of data gathering teams : constantly supporting you in CE or ODST. But the exchange felt extremely : forced. It was just so up-front obvious that the only reason they were : bringing it up was for the sake of creating "tension," because : it's never something that's been a big deal before, in either the game or : the series. It's so internally inconsistant. : Not to mention, they did at least sort of know how to disable them. Hence
So once again, Del Rio's only contributions to the plot are shallow attempts to manufacture "tension" where none actually exists.
