: impressed. My favorite thing about serial fiction is going back and
: finding where story seeds were planted early on.

Interesting.

The last time I thought about that quote was Post-Halo 3. Spark says straight up to the Chief's Face, "You ARE forerunner." It made sense if Forerunners and humans were one and the same.

Does anyone know what piece of materiel first disproved this notion? Was it Cryptum? or something else I'm forgetting?
