In Response To: Re: Reconciling the T&R and the cruiser in "Keyes" (Simpsons Rule) Just because they refer to it as 'this cruiser' in Keyes doesn't really much difference to me, I don't think I could ever build an argument around that myself. The different layouts, imo, don't make much sense in either case, saying as its the same class of ship. Doesn't really make sense for it to be a different ship in the same class with such a different layout, doesn't make sense for it to be the T&R because of a different layout. Some might call it as an excuse not to think, but based on what is available to us, and remembering that Halo is still a video game, I don't mind passing off the differences as a design liberty.
Let's re-emphasise some things yet again, essentially that Bungie are entirely in-capable of taking liberties about such things as we have seen with the Maw run. Credit to Bungie, they often do pay a lot more attention to details than others, but they are not perfect nor do they sort out every little detail.
