And that's totally perfect and fine. I also like debating what is or isn't canon, and I've made posts in the past regarding where Halo Wars fits in as well as certain parts that have changed within the games. At the same time, discounting an entire game or half a series or the series in its entirety based on two simple, small, and highly stupid arguments make no sense to me.

I can completely agree with you about what appeared to have happened with the Covenant, and with HP over how Brutes and Drones were forced/shoved into Halo awkwardly, and even that some changes really do seem out of place and even "wrong" from my point of view (and obviously others), but at least these thoughts are thought out, well written, and aren't meant to discount the entire product.
