: - Joseph Wow, thanks for responding personally! :-) I haven't finished your book yet, I'm maybe halfway through, and aside from some of the annoying little things that have been mentioned, it's very interesting. I'm glad there's an explanation for those things, too. If you don't mind my asking, though, what about the too-large number of named planets, and not just the 800? Although Star Wars does have a heirarchy of canon, if two sources conflict there's usually an attempt to keep both. I mentioned below that maybe some of those large number of worlds aren't really colonies, per se, but small outposts. I'm not sure about this, either, but the difference between the CA and UNSC has never really been explained to fans. Is it possible that the seventeen colonies of the CA are colonies of the UNSC, and not just Earth? Am I making any sense? I understand if for any reason you can't answer this. I'm just enjoying trying to reconcile the two numbers. Of course, if you want a real easy way to retcon the timeline stuff, you could always just say it was written in-universe and only partially incorrect. ;-) Thanks again for taking the time to look at this!
