(58) : I'm not disputing the fact that the Covenant armada is larger than the : UNSC's, I'm just finding it difficult to believe that Humanity has : expanded across however-many-hundreds of worlds. Well, I see a few ways to work around that. It says 800 worlds, not colonies. The majority of those worlds could be simply small military posts on otherwise unoccupied or even mostly inhospitable worlds. For example, Chi Ceti IV was just a weapons research facility for the Mjolnir armor. I'd like to say the UNSC has about a hundred worlds that are 'civilized,' if you will. And, IIRC, the 17 worlds were from the Colonial Administration Authority. That could be an important distinction, but we really don't know.
