In Response To: Halo 3 campaign and the Arbiter. Concerns (Captain Spark) I think they might make it so you play as the Master Chief for the entire game, but the Arbiter drops in and out constantly, like Half-Jaw in Halo 2. Maybe in co-op one player plays as the Arbiter, and the scripted events when the Arbiter leaves never happen. I have some concerns about this too. Halo 2 had three types of combat - no allies, allies who can die, and invincible allies coupled with allies who can die. All three are fun in their own unique way. If the Arbiter IS always in play (and I'm not saying that's true), two of those three are eliminated. I hope there will be plenty of levels where you can go it on your own steam, without an invincible friend to make sure everything's okay.
