In Response To: Re: Halo 3 campaign and the Arbiter. Concerns (everluck) : Going by the E3 trailer, it looks like Chief and the Arbiter run into a : little snag somewhere in Sierra 117 (the scene where MC puts a gun to the : Arbiter's head takes place in a forest), so they may split relatively : early. Also, near the end of the trailer, the Arbiter is on board a Scarab : while MC shoots rockets at it from the ground, giving the impression that : the two may not always be on the same path, but will have their missions : intertwined as such (a la GoW's branching paths or the sniper mission a : little into Perfect Dark: Zero). : Either way, I don't see it as the big deal you guys are making it out to be. Nobody's making a big deal about anything discussed in this thread. For me personally, Halo is about the game play. Fancy graphics, the story and even the music takes second place when it come to playing and having fun in the game. If having the Arbiter along for the ride ends up being a liability rather then a asset, then I end up focusing on his game play rather then my own. There is another aspect to my concern about Halo 3 that I didn't voice in my initial message. I bought a 360 specifically for Halo 3. If Halo 3 isn't fun to play then I wasted almost $1000 dollars. Halo has been the primary gaming entertainment in my life since I bought the original X Box and Halo 1 in August of 2002. I'm hooked on Halo and I say that with no regret. So I'm hoping for the best with Halo 3.
