In Response To: Re: Halo 3 campaign and the Arbiter. Concerns (Captain Spark) : You're right. I tried to limit my assumptions throughout this thread. I am a : tad apprehensive about the campaign though. I do trust that Bungie learned : from their mistakes in the Halo 2 campaign and will deliver a much more : solid game with Halo 3. I'm a tad apprehensive as well. I just feel as though the single player campaign is more important than ever with the final game in the trilogy, ending the story arc. Halo: CE had me hooked on its story and gameplay; I barely touched its multiplayer due to a lack of friends with xboxes, I swear and the lack of XBL integration (although to be fair I don't believe XBL technically existed at that point). Halo 2 had me playing the multiplayer a hell of a lot more, but I was still drawn into the campaign more so than anything else, as disappointing as some people thought it was. I'm trying desperately hard not to put my expectations too high as to make them unrealistic, but also not to begin worrying about other details as well. I'll be honest though, I went over the E3 trailer literally frame by frame with my girlfriend, even though she just smiled at my enthusiasm and didn't know most of what I was talking about. So I suppose the former of my two attempts is failing miserably :P I wish I could just get cryogenically frozen and wake up September 24th. That or maybe I could steal Cartman's idea of getting a Wii and apply it to Halo 3. That worked well for him, didn't it? -SR
