In Response To: The state of the community. (Ross Mills [subnova]) In fact, I was considering posting something very similar! You're completely right Ross- the forum have changed. I think it was due to the massive influx of new people that came right before and after Halo 2. Pointless discussions like 'Who do u liek bttr-MC or Arbitor *NM*' kind of stifled the discussion and debate. Then there was the period a lot of people went through where they had to be 'first' to do something. This rush to be the next great tricker or innovator kind of took away from the quality of the forum. I think we can get past this though--all it takes is people posting intelligent discussions. I encourage everyone to read over Shishka's Guide as well as Red Loser's Anti-Spamming guide. I think if we can raise the quality of discussion, we'll see another 'Golden Age' of the HBO forum.
