In Response To: Re: ya ever think... (Kamikaze7th) Recharge during transport, halo's power systems and the end of halo. The thing is that 343 probably did use halo as a broadcast power supply (but the theory that he recharged during a highly powerful discharge during a warp does make some sense, but would be a huge drain and a highly complex process, as your are trying to insert elecrtons into dissasembled particles, and would have to know where each of the billions of particles are to be positioned. If these highly powerful particles disrupt the order and/or flow of the original matter that make up the moved object. So he probably charged AFTER a jump, and dumped the majority of his power into the jump. He would charge during the rebuilding process, upon which the particles were being peiced together, and the electrons would not disturb the other particles.), but halo most likely used
343's power base and survival 343 probably used a extremely dense and high electron capacity metal (EG platinum) or liquid compound that also had a high electron capacity (Maybe a lithium based liquid.), or a combination of both. Anyways, the real concern isn't storage, it's charging. You will notice 343 uses a wave beam (not a gravity pulse, as that would cause disruptions in his immediate vicinity, which could be a problem, and would probably recquire more energy.) to move about. I believe he could use similar technology for material gathering, such as hydrogen. this would have given him indefintite power. His survival was based on this wave generator, which would have offset any damage. After the explosion , he used the wave to move about space, and probably used his reactor and wave generator to create a hole in slipspace. Scott Drouin (not bad for a 16-year-old, eh?)
