In Response To: Something about 343GS has been irking me (deanero) I have a rather brilliant theory. Allow me to explain. *puts on glasses* You see, Halo obviously has a large power source, whether from spacefoam, nuclear energy, or a giant space hamster using Halo like a running wheel. 343 must use this source too. However, this begs the question: Obviously for 343 to use this power, he must either (these are the two most likely) A> plug himself into outlets from time to time, which we have not as yet observed the Spark to do, or B> have the power directed at him somehow, much like a wireless Xbox controller might direct signals at your Xbox. However! Quite apparently, this direction of power, or pulse, must take quite some accuracy, and as such need very complicated machinery... perhaps, something like a pulse generator. You see where I'm going with this, because you're all that clever. See, when MC destroyed the pulse generators, he did not only deactivate Halo, he also destroyed the Monitor's power source. I realise that this would prevent the Monitor from visiting PoA, but perhaps he had enough energy stored up to get to the ship, and then possibly leeched power off of the ship's active machinery? |
