Unreliable... poor argument

Direct from www.maccentral.com, not HBORG... yet another one of the press buying into what everyone else has said. It's a faint memory of something official that possibly existed, but until I see it with my own eyes, I don't buy it. Note the date on the article... July 22, 1999. When people write website previews, they rip from other sites all the time. Currently, it's half and half... but this just demonstrates the possibility that they were influenced by another website (much like overhyped console game reviews tend to propogate across the net). OR that are creating their own information (they prove that they've played Marathon by their ending comments)... is it IMPOSSIBLE that they are projecting their expectations upon Halo?

Show me. Give me a link. Where? I'm happy to conceed once I see it. Since you can't provide it, the story hasn't ended. I want to see a press release with a Bungie header and not an editorial interpretation of a press release... otherwise, I want so see quotes around words coming from Bungie's mouth. Either will serve as canonical.

Hardly official. Very dubious. Strikes me like those FF8 reviews by the New York Times that claim it is an action adventure game. Action?!

I haven't been shown to be obviously wrong. In fact, I've keep a very objective view... allowing only a very specific type of information. Meanwhile, you and several others are allowing subjective sources to infect your perceptions and blind you into accepting only one truth. I'm perfectly willing to accept cyborgs if my informational parameters are met.

I'll leave you with some food for thought:

Yeah, I remember reading that and the big fuss it created amongst the scientific community. In a lot of ways, scientists are religious and simply accept things on faith. And when all the evidence pointed towards a continually expanding universe, many scientists simply refused to accept it on faith.

Weird, huh?

Why is this so hard for scientists to accept? Well, because if the universe contracts then you have a cycle that can support the Big Bang theory... but if it never contracts then there must have been a discrete origin to the beginning of the universe. Scary, huh? ;)

The tru7h is out there... why embrace lies?
