No cyborgs in Halo...

http://halovault.ign.com/interviews/ I searched every interview above, have read all the official press releases (and backstory), and I *still* can't find a *SINGLE* official statement claiming that their are cyborgs in Halo. Nor can I find anything that claims that the PoA crash landed on Halo. Why, then, do many of the previews and press persist in spreading the rumor that you (and all of your marines- though there's disagreement on that among the previews) play the role of a cyborg and that the PoA crash lands on Halo? Who started it? (After all, a LOT of websites simply rip off others for their preview info) Somehow, I highly doubt that there are ANY [human] cyborgs in Halo. Why? Because if 800 cyborg commandos each had even a *fraction* of the Marathon Marine's ability... this war would be over in a second! They'd just hijack a shuttle and go up into space and blow the sh*t outta the Covenant fleet! ;) Seriously, *maybe* the hero we play will be a cyborg (to explain why he gets to see the story advance and execute feets of heroism)... but definitely not on the same scale as the Marathon Marine, else he'd fight the whole war against the Covenant, *HIMSELF*! ;) Personally, I think we're just all good-old-fashioned homo sapiens... forcing the humans to use tactics and guerrilla warfare instead of going Marathon/Doom/QuakeMarineStyle on CovAss... besides... Bungie hasn't said ANYTHING about cyborgs. ;) If anyone cares to demonstrate otherwise, I'd be glad to be corrected... I really want to know what the final word on this is!
