In Response To: Monster Behaivor (first version) (goran) This is pretty good stuff, but there's a couple corrections that I have to make. invisible monster trigger - activates invisible monsters and monsters that teleports in. This only has to do with monsters that teleport in. Monsters flagged as invisible by the physics model but do not teleport in are activated by Visible triggers. If you want to place monster on ledges or pillars, and also want them to be able to shoot from that location, they must have at least two polygons to move around on. Three polygons, not two. There need to be at least three polygons that the flagged monster can move around in, as its physics allow. So three polygons of the same height or of slightly different heights will work well, but if it is afraid of jumping down that height, it won't count that polygon. |
