When they ask Greg : Bear to write a few books as a primer for the game, he ends up writing the : Didact as actually having some depth or complexity to his character. I : think this is why people are so confused about his portrayal. He was meant : to be evil all along, Bear just made him look too rational and noble. Then the fault lies with the people who wrote Didact as a Disney villain. : Also, it's all sorts of weird that Master Builder is barely in the Halo 4 : terminals even though he was supposedly a critical character in that time : period. Plus he shows none of the traits he does in the books and doesn't : appear to be in any sort of conflict with anyone. Because the canon is so interconnected now! Didn't you hear?
