In Response To: My campiagn gripes *SP* (NartFOpc) These, pretty much: : Fighting prometheans is boring. Agreed, and at this point I'm not even sure why. Maybe it's that Knights are bullet sponges. Maybe it's that they're faceless robots - yes, technically Composed humans - but that hardly matters because they look virtually identical. Compared to the Covenant, they have little to distinguish one another. : Many spots in the game where I felt under-equipped/ran out of ammo. Maybe
The guns definitely feel like they run out of ammo way faster. : The Didact's ship looks dumb. Yeah, someone needs to tell the 343 art department that sticking as much detail into something as you can doesn't make it look better. : Captain Del Rio or whatever is a fucking dumbass. Remind me, how did this guy end up commanding the biggest and best ship in the fleet? It's like he exists solely to be an idiot. : Nothing else with Halsey besides the opening? I was expecting to run into her on Ivanoff, but ultimately it's better she wasn't there (supposedly) given what happened. And no Blue Team? I expected the Chief's buddies to come and console him in the end but only got Lasky. People who haven't seen Forward Unto Dawn must be scratching their heads asking, "who is this guy again?" : Whole campaign actually takes place over like 6-7 hours (I mean actually
It did feel very condensed, particularly toward the end after the action moves out of Requiem. It's like they wanted to cram all this Forerunner introduction stuff and the "Didact wants to Compose Earth" story into one game and then it ends up feeling extremely rushed. : Chief strolling down the light bridge while humans are getting cooked below. This, and also the fact that you finish the game with a quick time event. : The Didact sucks. I wonder in which point did he go from not liking humans at the time to "MUST COMPOSE ALL HUMANS RIGHT NOW ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL I KNOW YOU FEEL THIS". Maybe the Forerunner novels just made him seem too multi-dimensional when he really was just ol' bad guy?
