I still enjoyed the : campaign immensely other than the Mammoth level, and I'll be finishing up : my legendary run tomorrow. Also I have had a blast with multiplayer so : far, big props to 343 on that. : h4gripes.txt : Fighting prometheans is boring. Boring on normal/heroic, pain in the ass on legendary. I have found myself saying "clever girl" several times. See how they do on legendary for ya. : Everything about the Mammoth mission sucks, I wanted to like this one more but it didn't really grab me. It reminded me of a reverse of the scarab take down in Halo 2, like if you switched sides. Would have liked that more actually, repelling covie boarders. : Many spots in the game where I felt under-equipped/ran out of ammo. Maybe Didn't happen to me. Ammo and guns everywhere, though the forerunner caches are hard to spot sometimes. : BR sounds bad. Shots and reload. Never liked the BR. Whenever I found a dmr, I'd switch everytime. : Cortana's face looks wierd. Meh. : What the fuck is wrong with the plasma pistol sounds? Yeah and the ghost too. That one bugs me so much. I want them to sound like CE, I want that creepy whine, not the sounds of a space vibrator : Lip-syncing. didn't see any issues. Not like CEA : Weapon names. Still don't know what the new grenades are called. you dumb : Captain Del Rio or whatever is a fucking dumbass. thought he was kinda cliched myself. And when I saw Lasky I laughed my ass off because he didn't look anything like what I thought because of forward unto dawn haha. Leave it to beav man. : Knight charge attack is dumb It's raped me a couple of times. : Nothing else with Halsey besides the opening? meh : Needs more warthog/mongoose. NO THANK YOU. Unless they put a v6 (at least!) in that hog I'll stay out of it. Turret sounds good though imo : AI fragments --> Spooky hardlight ghosts? : Very little of the soundtrack really grabbed me. ditto. The end was pretty good. The rest of the game I couldn't hear it. : No quotes jumped out at me as memorable. : Covenant voices are dumb. disagree : Elite colors not vibrant enough. disagree, not sure why they went with the Reach variants though. : Whole campaign actually takes place over like 6-7 hours (I mean actually : in-universe)? This is too subjective. It felt "right" to me. Not too long, not short. : Chief strolling down the light bridge while humans are getting cooked below. : Promethean grenades are useless pieces of trash. YES. FUCKING HATE THEM. Maybe I'm using them wrong, but I can't kill anything with them. Plasma grenades also do not have a huge blast radius anymore, AND they have a slight bounce to them when they land, I don't like that, they never used to do that. Are they like that in MP too? : Hunter melee attack is comically fast. Looks silly. didn't notice I think I only fought em twice? : The Didact sucks. I've got a few of my own but I'm waiting until done with legendary. Overall, there is a good balance of things that I didn't like and things that I did. Right now, I give it a "B" (campaign)
