In Response To: My campiagn gripes *SP* (NartFOpc) : This is just some stuff I wrote down after my initial playthrough last night. : Let me know if you agree/disagree with anything. I still enjoyed the : campaign immensely other than the Mammoth level, and I'll be finishing up : my legendary run tomorrow. Also I have had a blast with multiplayer so : far, big props to 343 on that. : h4gripes.txt : Fighting prometheans is boring.
I've been watching the campaign on YouTube of some fella playing the entire game through. The weapons sounds are not very distinct , they all have a very similar sound, a tinny rather "sameness" to them. A lot of the sounds in general has that tinny sound to them. The Grunts sound almost cat-like and cartoony. The fella I've been watching play through the campaign has ran out of ammo for both weapons several times and he had to walk around quite a bit just to find a weapon. This is not good. I don't expect this to be like Gear of War where you are about like 50 feet or so from an ammo crate or weapons lying around. I'll hold off any more opinions about the game until I get around to buying it.
