Okay, so here's what this looks like to me:

You've looked at a set of conditions, really just the IDEA of a set of conditions (we've seen footage showing this game feature maybe 3 times this week, and I don't know ANYONE who got a chance to actually TRY it), and you've decided that you don't like these conditions. (This is fine.) You've then tried to show how bad these conditions are by making up scenarios that you think will be awful - you're LOOKING for the negative. And you're ONLY looking for the negative - you have not ONCE tried to lay out a scenario in which these features (that you don't like without having seen more than a minute or two of relevant footage, and certainly without playing yourself) might actually be fun to play.

I guess that's my real problem with your attitude. Having decided the features don't work for you, you aren't willing to expend ANY energy at all envisioning how you can make the best of what you see as a bad situation - you simply want to complain about the situation (to the extent that you're arguing theoretical outcomes to hypothetical situations in a way that suggests that you think you're actually making a real point).

You've done this in the past - and I've griped about it. And while some of the negative things you've predicted have come to pass, I can say with certainty that you have played Reach and had fun doing so - because I've been there. Which means that it's not ALL doom and gloom.

If only you were willing to try and look on the bright side from the beginning... who KNOWS how much fun you'd actually have when you played?
