Not game developers, TV designers. I'd be happy with something with less resolution than HD but more than analog... but if they did that, then yeah, why not go ahead and provide equivalent horizontal res. to HD and appropriate vertical res. to go with it? Like I said, I don't expect it to happen, it just would be nice to not have to choose between either having a game look bad or adding a few dozen dollars on top of a new game purchase I can already barely make.
