In Response To: Re: I think I disagree with you guys. (Phoenix_9286) It seems 343i is saying "screw you" to players, like me, that don't have a fancy Widescreen HD TV. What I don't like about Reach's HUD is that the callouts, more often then not, reach all the way over to the gun reticle. It makes it harder to line up a shot and it's very distracting. With Halo4 I now have to deal with that on top of Grenade indicators and a butt load of Nav points and conversation windows? COME ON! - Remove the grenade indicator. It's NOT Needed!
Remove the Speed & Damage Boost crap. They are not needed. We haven't needed them for 10+ years and we don't need them now. - Seriously? You're going to give everyone Sprint and THEN give them a Speed Boost and PV? WHAT?!
Sorry, but are you thinking at all with this mess, 343i? You might as well drop Armor Lock back in then give us the light shield, Bubble Shield, Camo, and PV at the same time. You don't add "perks" to a game that will completely unbalance it. It looks like the lack of a public beta is hurting the game big time. I tell you what. Relase the campaign demo and one MP level onto Xbox Live for ONE WEEK. Heck, do it for two days and you'll learn all you need to learn. Just from E3 player feedback & gloating, placing these combinations together for one player is clearly making it unbalanced. -PV has been proven to be over-powered. Give it a 2-5 second limit with a long recharge to fix it. Heck give ALL the AAs a long recharge.
I loved what I saw, but the MP is going to be worse then Reach's TU update if things aren't fixed. And Please Fix the Indicator issues I stated above. Not everyone is blessed with the money to spend on TVs. Heck I personally can only ever afford one game every few years and I have to save up for that almost a year in advance!
