In Response To: Reach will have a great legacy. (Leviathan) : Looking through the Halo: Essential Visual Guide today, I was really happy to : notice how when I turned to pages highlighting members of Noble Team, they : really jumped out at me. I think both ODST and Reach will be fondly remembered looking back, because frankly Bungie could've just said "we don't really want to do 2 more Halo games" and shipped Halo Master Chief Returns Yet Again, but they strove to do something unique and interesting while also holding on to the core of what made Halo, Halo. However you might feel about the stories of ODST and Reach, they took interesting corners of the universe and delivered AAA content for them. In ODST and Reach, Bungie even helped lay a creative blueprint for 343 for potential future entries into the series. Imagine a Halo game where you're playing as the Spartan IIs in the decades prior to Reach falling, or even an ODST sequel/prequel set on Reach itself! Many new legitimate directions to take the series from here.
