| Story elements get tricky | |

In Response To: Re: Easter eggs (urk) : Actually, the tricky part is that eggs are hidden from everyone, including : most of the employees. For example, Marty didn't know about his dance : number in Halo 3: ODST until he saw footage for himself on the web. The : further back you go, the less managed the process. : I should also add that the reason broader topics are more valuable to me is
That does make plenty of sense, though it is fun to learn that the eggs weren't later given out after launch. I guess that keeps things fun for everyone who worked on the game as well. As for broad topics, most of mine would be story focused. Even topics that I don't think could possibly show up in Halo 4-6, but you might not even be able to talk about them because of novels and whatever else 343 Industries might be wanting to do. It really limits what I'm able to ask. I have a boatload of questions about ONI and the extent of things they know and a lot of the inner workings regarding what they do or don't keep secret, mostly in regards to the Halos or what they might have known about what was inside of Onyx. I still have questions about the exact number of Spartans, or how it was decided that there would be this particular number to start, this many who washed out, this many who survived, and whether novels like The Fall of Reach screwed up the numbers (there are discrepencies) or whether it was all by design to be vague and unclear (like how we have Kurt pop up in Ghosts of Onyx, or that Spartan Black team from the Blood Line comic). Even if specific roles were never figured out, were the numbers still there? Bungie's always been pretty tight lipped over this stuff, and I'd imagine that 343 Industries probably wouldn't want any of this discussed, either. That puts me in a hard place for topic ideas. Regardless, I would love for Bungie to be at PAX in some official capacity just so I can stop by and say hi and thank you for the past 10 years of Halo and for everything else before it. I'll keep trying to figure out broader topics beyond what I just elaborated on for story for you all to talk about if possible.
