In Response To: Totally Hypothetical Bungie Panel (PAX) (urk) : So, let's pretend that I had been able to convince Marty and Staten and : Butcher to participate in a Halo Fest panel at PAX this year. Further, : let's assume that I'd neglected to really think through what the content : of this panel should entail (whoops!). Given these two totally : hypothetical assumptions, what material would you be most interested in : seeing them cover, keeping in mind that I'm not interested, at all, in : hashing out Armor Lock or SMG starts with this trio of ancients. : I'm not necessarily looking for explicit questions (though, they're welcome).
Firstly, I would like to request that, if possible, this panel takes place on Saturday. There are already two on Friday, and a lot of people leave for home on Sunday and might not be able to see this. I think a panel with Bungie in it would be my highest priority HaloFest panel over anything else Halo related, bar none. As for content, if possible, elaboration on how Halo 2 was supposed to end. Not full on details, but maybe an idea of what some differences might have been to lead to it ending on Earth and how much it might have altered Halo 3's story (or if we would have had a Halo 3). Maybe get into talking about personal favorite areas of the games or story, even if something as simple as multiplayer maps or particular songs. It would be nifty to hear from each of them which parts of the games stood out. These are all the ideas I can think of at the moment while trying to be realistic with what would actually be covered. I might reply with more later.
