On a remake, I would spazz if we ever got the chance to play out the ODST missions of the book "The Flood"... Preferably with the perspective of 1st Lt. Melissa McKay, or an ODST that is not a jerk. On to the point, to solve that, I'd put an Easter Egg mission where you get to play the failed investigation mission from Johnson's perspective. Whenever if it'd start from the point they're dropped from the Pelican, or from the point the Flood comes in, your objective there is escape, and the mission ends abruptly if Johnson is injured. BUT. If the player survives that mission and makes it, he'd see that he goes to the surface, and calls for a Pelican. ...And then, as a bonus ending, you'd get to see Johnson and company watching Halo blow up.
