Why it is that Bungie never lets you kill a human as an elite in Halo 2? Of course in Halo 3 there's not even an human enemy. Shoot, there's never a human enemy. It's always "aliens are bad, flood are bad, humans are good!" This is all well and good, except that there's LOTS of room within the novels (i mean, yes of course it's the novels, so who cares) for evil human baddies. I understand how Bungie wouldn't want there to be confusion over why you're an evil alien covenant baddie who is killing good innocent humans, but there's innies, there's probably awesome freaking space pirates out there, and of course, there's probably twisted and/or evil ONI people lurking in the Halo universe which we could do battle with- as Spartans or Elites. This is just something I've wondered about often since my first playthrough of Halo 2, when you are the Arbiter battling through the Quarantine zone, and hear humans being killed by flood over the radio. I personally would have LOVED to blast 'em. As the arbiter, I still had plenty of motive to do so at the time.
