In Response To: I'm going to come out and admit it - (Jillybean) I agree with the campaign > multiplayer side of things, but I don't think MC is overrated at all (could be the fanboy in me though). MC's a pretty cool character, what with all the books and additional media chronicling his back story. Out side of Halo fans, he's not really given much respect as a gaming character. I find even Marcus Fenix gets more attention than Master Chief - probably because he has more personality in the games. I'd probably say that MC is actually fairly underrated. Story based games are a lot more interesting and immersive than multiplayer. I love hopping on for a few hours of Big Team etc with my d00ds, but NOTHING beats the experience of traversing new worlds for the first time. The element of surprise, not knowing what's around the corner and trying to create a strategy to progress during your very first play through of ANY game is a really unique feeling. As for ODST, I'm not getting too excited yet. Sure, it looks helluva awesome, but it seems it's just going to be H3 multiplayer with a new campaign mode, which is shorter than H3's (which I thought was impossible). The co-op should be fun, considering you'll have to work harder as a team to bring down the way-more powerful Brutes, but once you've done that a few times I don't think the story's gonna have much replay value.
