It wouldn't surprise me, either-- but in that case I really have to say that their statement about that distance is terribly misleading, plus I don't know why they would make it.

Perhaps we can get a more definitive answer soon. I doubt the exact location is really of much importance to the plot, and getting it nailed down will just let people get on with having bits of fun like this without arguing about where the darn thing's supposed to go :)
