In Response To: Geological Formations? (Geoff Chang) That's some nice work! I'm impressed with how thourough you (and Bungie) were in the locating of this artifact. In fact, it seems a little too obvious... Yet Bungie has been more forthcoming about Halo 3 than anything else they've done so far. And they are aware of HBO's dedication and thouroughness. Though this takes the artifact away from Voi, Mombassa, and central Africa (in the flash image), there is little reason why it would be located under a city. It must have been placed there at least 100,000 years ago, if not many more, and what with geological changes, cultural migrations, and all, this could explain why this artifact was undiscovered, and also why the Kilimajaro area is regarded as a spritiual center (but aren't all mountains?). | |
