Neat to have a model, but I think the size and position are off. It's obviously much larger than 3 miles, and seems to be so far from Mombasa that you wouldn't possibly have been able to see it from the artifact. Since Bungie says the engine can render geometry up to 16 or so game miles away, and says that Mombasa is in the distance and is actual geometry, that would seem to indicate that the artifact is no more than 16 miles away from Mombasa. So draw a line from Mombasa to Kiliminjaro and travel 16 miles along it, and there's your artifact. | |
