For those who came of age during Halo 1's heyday, that might be true. Some of us, though, were over 30 already when Halo 1 came out, so if we prefer some elements of the first game over the second, it's really not nostalgia coming into play. They're all "new games" as far as we're concerned. That includes just about anything released in the past five or six years for me as far as games go, and ten years for movies. (Games have changed more in that time than films have, for my money.)
