In Response To: My semi-annual novel...replayability and teh Dukez (Ducain) /huggles Ducain I suck at competitive games, especially online competitive games, like first person shooters and real time strategy games. Why? I get so incredibly nervous, tense, preassured and worried when playing them. It's not even enjoyable in most cases. Because of this I love playing co-op games. My imagination won't spam my head with ideas of what opposing players might be doing, there's no preassure, no stress, it's highly enjoyable. What about the ultimate form of co-operation in games? MMORPGs? I've played World of Warcraft for more than a year, and depending on the crowd you play with, it can get as competitive as a non-co-op game. Personally I'm surprised that I've been able to stand the stress, preassure and pain that end-game content in World of Warcraft has caued me. I'm happy that it soon will be over. So what is for me the most fun to play? I've found that I love casual co-op games. MMORPGS can turn as hardcore as any competitive game, where playing stops being leisure and turns into a job. In the end, I'm proud to say that I'm a casual gamer, or at least I should be. <3 <3 <3 |
