In Response To: Re: Aww, u b ma lub! (BOLL) Wow, it's been to long since I've posted on these foruns, and your post, Ducain, just makes me want to write something equally as heart-felt. But alas, I suck at writing these things, so I'll speak my mind. I personally, will always enjoy Halo 1's CMP much more than Halo 2's. Why? Not because of the way H2 ends, but because of my fond memories of H1. I used to be over at my friend's (Few of your will remember *DeatH*) house almost every weekened running through H1 and just coming up with video ideas and then jotting them down. All those times we argued over those two great subjects of how we should play H1 that weekend. "I think we should play AotCR and FINALLY beat it on Legendary with only dying 5 times each as the limit."
Then we'd bicker about it for a good half hour and then we just went and did something completely different. We ran through other levels and goofed off and found new things to record and make into videos. Where is that in the H2 CMP? To me, it's nowhere. We've played QZ together a total of ONE time. And you know how much I love tricking that level. But still, that one thing about H1 beats H2 over the head with a steel bat. I guess I'm going to agree with you on this one Ducain, Halo was, and is (in my opinion) a much more come-back-to-play-me-again-and-again game. I don't know if I wrote this correctly to how I wanted it to sound, but you should know, I agree with you. That is all I wanted. Louis Wu, I'd like to ask one thing from you before I go about idling again. Which game gets played more for the fun factor at your LAN parties? This can be answered by anyone come to think of it. I'm pretty much stuck between both games, their MP is equally as good. KORHAL | |
