Yes but does he believe in The Great Journey? or does he think he can survive the Halo activation? If he thinks he will survive then he is very confident, you don't activate the Halos if you are only 50% certain you will survive. (Well I wouldn't :-) He appears to be trying to tear the Covenant apart but why? There is somthing going on with Truth. OTOH We were supposed to capture Regret to get info but when we caught him we were told that he had given us all we were going to get, so just kill him. (wtf?) The Heretic attacks the Arbiter for no apparent reason. The script says they start to fight, so they start to fight. The Arbiter has to lower the shield wall to gain access to the QZ but when he does he finds that everybody else in the game has been inside for ages. He's tha last person invited to the party. Those things had me confused and scratching my head. I don't remember having wtf? moments with the original Halo story.
