Excellent point. I'd like to share a story. I played through Metropolis today, except I never reloaded my checkpoint. If my Marines died, war is hell. Live with it. If my warthog blew up, I walked. it was a really cool experience, fighting Ghosts and Wraiths on foot. Some of my Marines survived, and ran along with, me dodging, and shooting, and taking cover behind debris. I found plenty of RL's and ammo, not to mention a Sniper Rifle. I had quite a time shooting rockets, and boarding. When I finally got to the makeshift Marine HQ, I ran out of rockets shotting wraiths. there was one left. Then, right on time, A pelican swooped in, turret blazing, and blew up the Wraith. It dropped off 3 Marines. I swapped my empty launcher for a Battle Rifle, and headed inside to meet up Sargeant Banks. Just one of my favorite parts in the game. Another time, I was palying Quarantine Zone, and my vehicle had been destroyed,and all my Elites were dead.
Oh, but remember; Halo 2 was a HUGE dissapointment, and made us cry, and bitch, and moan about it in our awesome forums.
