The places I give are the only places in the game where this sound is used. The sounds of birds outside don't come from a specific place, but the sound I talk about is taken from the pulse generators... a very important part of the game. : I very well know about the Halo Bible and agree that the books are canon, : but I strongly disagree with what you've implied. The books are ment to : expound upon the Halo game story line. It fills in the details not told : in the games. Not the other way around. : It's the old story... which comes first... the chicken or the egg? Halo the : game... or the books...? Yes, I believe this too. The first two books expand upon the game Halo 1; however, I must ask you this. Which came first, First Strike or Halo 2? This book in particular is in a possition of importance, when compared to the other two books. Things such as Sergeant Johnson escape from Halo, or how the MC gets back to Earth are specifically laid out for in First Strike, and I don't look to Bungie to change these things. This is why I say First Strike holds insight into Halo 2... it came first;) -Metatron
