I'd agree with you on this one, except that "Chiron" isn't spoken by any of the Spartans, it's mentioned by the narrator/author (trying to find a good word here), and even if it had been spoken by the Spartans, they've trained at numerous locations, so I would expect it to be specifin if spoken, though some leeway would be granted if that were the case. I think ^^ ranks among the longest sentences I've ever typed. : - Also, why else would the exact same sound of the pulse generators located : on Halo be heard all throughout the level Chiron TL34? Why would all the : MP maps be located on or in orbit of Halo except for this one? I realize : that those are questions that can't really be answered, but it does show a : pattern which I've tried to point out in this theory. The pattern of all the MP maps being on Halo or in orbit near it is definitely there, and I can see where you're coming from on that one. That doesn't necessarily mean that a different one wouldn't be thrown into the mix though. Perhaps the very fact that Chiron is not in the Threshold system is meant to perk some heads at a possible story connection. If that's the case, it's fulfilling its purpose. As far as the Generators sound, I have a couple of ideas on that one: 1) It's coincidence. Bungie was just looking for some background noise and didn't have time to make brand new ones just for Chiron. 2)The sound is actually meant to be the sound of human machinery/electronics/etc. Some things that are not at all the same sound alike. In which case, it's coincidence. A similar instance happened to me once. I was watching a program on NASA's shuttle simulator and I noticed that the noises made by the machine sounded a lot like the roar of the T-rex on "Jurassic Park". Come to find out, they actually used the sounds of the simulator as the rex's roar. It doesn't mean that the T-rex is somehow related to the shuttle simulator. Understand that I don't want you to take that example as ridicule. I can see how it might be misinterpreted, but it's actually the only parallel I can find to make my point: that the same sounds don't necessarily link 2 objects.
