Bad experiences

In Response To: Re: is there pilot in covy ships (vshields ash) There are two possibilities. Perhaps, like many have said, it is because they couldn't rip off Forerunner AI technology. Of course, maybe they had bad experiences with AI's in the past, what with rampancy seeming to be running, well, rampant in both speculation and in the actual game, as well as previous games. Perhaps they let their AI's evolve to a point where they simply couldn't control them because they were so superior and independant, so they placed the reponsibilty on Ship's Master and its crew. Just a thought.
