In Response To: Counter-play (Leisandir) Yeah, that was a bit rambaly, that's ok. In my experience Halo is more counter playable than ever. With Reach you could respond to some situations by changing armor abilities. Someone has a rocket launcher? Armor lock. Someone is entrenched in an upper room. Jetpack. There is a sniper? Cloak. Halo 4 just adds to this with the selectable weapon loadouts. Vehicles can be neutralized to an extent with an entire team carrying plasma pistols. Hard light shield works wonders as a big glowing distraction letting a teammate finish off an enemy. Choosing between DMR and BR and AR is something I do quite a bit depending on where the enemy is and what they are doing. I look at Infinity drops this way. In every previous Halo I would have to contend with people wielding power weapons. In 4 I still do, but now I have even more tools to help me do so. Where the person sniping at me got his rifle doesn't matter much to me while I'm trying to kill him.
