Do they scrape bark with them? :-) I've had a snake gnaw on me a few times, and it's always struck me at how freakin' awesome their jaws are at the job they're designed for. Each one can move independently, and the teeth are designed to ratchet food inward, but not release. So, what if the mandibles were used to latch onto prey, and the upper row of teeth (not the mandibles, the actual upper jaw) would slice off hunks of meat. The meat would then be transported down the throat (Initially propelled by the tongue that Sl'askia mentioned) and would then be digested in a tract specially designed for breaking down meat. : Could an Elite pick up a bowl with its mouth fingers and nom the contents : directly from the bowl without using its hands? I always thought that Elite bowls and glasses would be interchangeable, and would simply fit into the void between the mandibles and the throat and be poured down. : Its a pity that Halo 4 Elites now have codpieces. It suggests that they have : external genitalia just like we do. Boring! : Come on art guys, have some imagination. "Hey, what should a female Elite look like?" "Female, right? Just slap some breasts and long hair on her." "Umm... but it's an alien." "Yeah? So?"
